Children's Performing Dance Studio Showtime Katusha invites children ages 3 to 19 to join classes of:
- Children's dance
- Russian folk dance
- Ballet
- Basic gymnastics
- Tap
The studios are located in HOLLYWOOD, RESEDA (new) and VAN NUYS (new).
Our kids hold awards in the national competitions in Disneyland, Las Vegas, and Long Beach.
Dance Studio "Katusha" was founded in 1997 by Peter Efimenkov and Larisa Carlson, a married couple of professional dancers and choreographers with many years of experience. The studio is named after their daughter Katusha, one of the first dancers at the studio. Today, Katusha Yefimenkova is a dance soloist and instructor at the studio.
Studio director - Larisa Carlson is a highly qualified and experienced professional dance and gymnastics instructor, founder and chief choreographer of a dance studio. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Very organized, hard-working, creative, and artistic with children, great power of analysis, friendly, cooperative, with a good sense of humor. Graduate of Choreography School at Opera Theater. Master of sports in Artistic Gymnastics of Russia. Manager and dance instructor at College and House of Dance School. Completed two-year course of tap dance and flamenco at Los Angeles City College. Devoted motivation in working with children and teenagers in the general area of physical education, ballet, folk dance, tap, flamenco, choreography of performances, related dance costume design, and musical gymnastics.
Multilingual: English, Russian, Ukranian.

Life is movement and movement is dance. This is why children's Dance Studio Katusha should be available to everyone and every child should have an opportunity to learn dance. Our goal is to ensure harmonious development of children.
Dance and rhythmical movement of children improves their bearing, walk, and breathing process, strengthens their muscles, develops good coordination, and contributes to their healthy growth.
